Before we started using the site I was concerned that I wouldn’t get the candidates I needed and hence the money I spent wouldn’t be justified. However, I’ve been pleased with the response so far and quickly received applications for the roles I was looking to fill. We’re still getting a good response and I really like the CVs By Email Service. I get a daily email listing all the candidates who have just registered on the site who meet our criteria and send them to the relevant consultants to contact. It works well for us.
Most of the vacancies we post require the candidate to have some UK experience and some sites we’ve used previously send through lots of underqualified applications. I find the quality of candidates coming though British Medical jobs is higher than other sites we’ve used and most meet the requirements.”

"We first started advertising with British Medical Jobs in November 2010. At the time we started advertising my main reservation was that it was a fairly new site and in my experience it takes time for job boards to establish a name for themselves in the market. However, having advertised for over 8 months now it is clear that they have achieved this in a short amount of time.
The package we have with British Medical jobs is tailored to our needs and therefore really cost effective. We receive good quality applications – something we find isn’t always the case with generic boards – and we get telephone enquiries from candidates who have found our profile and contact details.
The CV database is also a really useful tool and the customer service is 100%. I know that there will always be someone on hand to answer any questions and make changes to my account as necessary.

“My main reservation in using British Medical Jobs was that I wasn’t sure if I’d get enough applications to make it cost effective.
I have a few jobs on the site and do get a response but I mainly use the CV database which has a useful email alert system. I get a daily email with new registrants that reach my criteria so I just click the link to download the CVs. I get on average 1 CV per day which is less than other sources but I find I have better success with the candidates from British Medical Jobs. This is because the candidates tend to have had less contact and aren’t registered with lots of other agencies.
I particularly liked the fact that the package was tailored to meet my financial and business needs rather than one package offered to all – something I’ve experienced with other sites I contacted.
I also think the customer service provided is second to none!
